Rudy Ford - Educational Consultant
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Rudy Ford has lived all around the country and currently resides in St. Paul, Minnesota. After earning his BS in Psychology at Williams College, Rudy taught full time for 13 years before moving into school leadership. While an admissions director in Baltimore, Rudy studied Curriculum and Instruction at Loyola University Maryland and was a consultant to low-performing public schools with LearningFRONT. During his 15 years as a Middle School Principal, Rudy also co-founded a collaborative group for school administrators in southern New England, partnered with AISNE to develop their annual conference for Middle Schools, and served on the advisory board for Community Youth Services of Pierce County, WA. Proud to have kept his foot in the classroom throughout his time as a full time administrator, Rudy is a teacher at heart and brings that spirit to his consulting work with nonprofits--helping them to access benefits and leverage resources they often don’t know are available to them. He is delighted to partner with Socrates - Head of School and with educators who seek answers to questions essential to improving the school experience for kids.
