What are the different levels of interacting with Socrates - Head of School?

You are welcome to engage with us on one of three levels. Weekly email: We are thrilled with the growing number of educators who receive our weekly email. You can sign up here and it will cost you nothing. We also promise not to give your email to anyone else. Subscription: In addition to our weekly email, we offer Book Study Discussion Questions and Meeting Slides for each book you see on our website. It’s $10 a month to have access to our weekly offering, plus access to the database from all of our distillations. Workshops: We use the books we’ve distilled to build out world class professional development. Please let us know if you are interested in us proposing a workshop for your needs.

Why does the email to connect with you start with “partnerships”?

We feel that our secret sauce is two-fold. One, we are working to move education forward via the lens of questioning. Two, we aren’t offering cookie cutter programming where you decide if you are a good fit. We want to partner with you by asking “What would ideal professional development look like at your school?” From there, we put together a package of ideas and propose them to you. That’s the first step in our partnership. Hence, we want to work with schools who reach out in that spirit.

Can you provide examples of your work?

Yes. We are happy to send you samples of our work. Once we have a sense of what you are looking for, we can send you comparable work we’ve done with other schools.

Should we present the Engaged Learning / Enhanced Leadership Workshops or should we ask you to?

You probably have someone on campus who is perfectly capable of presenting our materials. For that reason we are happy to collaborate on a workshop for someone at your school to present. We also travel around the country and present workshops for schools, associations, and other organizations.

If we are presenting, can we edit the slide decks on our own?

Yes. We are happy to provide you with the slide decks for you to customize them for your school.
